Global Medical Affairs Physician MD -Oncology
Your tasks and responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role, Global
Medical Affairs Physician MD -Oncology, are
to:
+ Provide the medical strategy for the global medical
affairs study program;
+ Plan and coordinates the design, conduct, analysis,
reporting and publication of oncology global medical affairs
studies;
+ Provide strategic review of oncology and post
marketing studies;
+ Ensure all regional studies are consistent with
agreed global medical strategy;
+ Provide medical expertise and insight on commercial
issues through membership of the oncology global brand
teams;
+ Plan and conducts scientific advisory boards with
key thought leaders and external customers;
+ Represent Bayer viewpoint on products to key
opinion leaders, scientific advisors, health authorities and to
other external stakeholders;
+ Provide medical affairs input to global clinical
development programs;
+ Provide medical probability of success and
feasibility assessments to global marketing colleagues in relation
to Bayer oncology products;
+ Provide medical review of promotional material from
the GBT for global use e.g. product monographs, brochures, press
releases, Q&As, field communications;
+ Lead medical affairs activity connected to the gbt
scientific publication process, global ktl development programs and
global medical congress activity;
+ Provide medical affairs input to core labeling and
pharmacovigilance documents for marketed products (e.g. risk
management plans and benefit analysis for risk-benefit
assessments);
+ Establish and lead medical affairs matrix teams for
global brands in oncology .
Who you are
Your success will be driven by your demonstration of
our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position,
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the
following:
Required Qualifications:
+ Medical doctor (physician) with advanced post
graduate medical training/experience;
+ A minimum of 3-10 years of experience in the
pharmaceutical industry in either clinical development and/or
medical affairs function of a global healthcare
organization;
+ In depth knowledge of the oncology
field;
+ Understanding of drug development process over
different stages;
+ Experience of developing and delivering
presentations and publications in English;
+ Very strong written and oral English communication
skills;
+ A strong global mindset;
+ Understanding of global regulations and
guidelines;
+ Experience of effectively managing risk and
compliance issues;
+ Experience of managing teams across cultures
and geographies;
+ Experience of participating in cross-functional
teams;
+ Experience of working across and building effective
working relationships between functions;
+ Proven record of relationship building, both
internally and externally to the organization;
+ Great oral presentation skills.
