Supports the Office of the CTO, enabling the Technology leadership team to make better decisions through the creation of continuous-improvement programs and metrics to drive higher performance outcomes consistently.
Lead the execution of high-impact, enterprise-wide, strategic programs or initiatives.
Key partner in driving focus and prioritization within the Technology organization through establishingstrategic planning and governance principles and processes
Assists in the preparation, review and consolidation of business plans, budgets, reports, and promotional materials for the Technology organization. Drives and facilitates effective collaboration and communications between the Technology organization and the user and customer communities.
8-12 years experience leading and managing cross matrix, multi-functional direct and virtual teams with a program budget in excess of $4M
(in science, engineering or business), with related business discipline experience.
Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects in relation to their programs
Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programs and projects
Sound business case development and approvals skills
Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
Strong planning & organization skills with attention to detail.
Process improvement experience, especially experience that leverages technology as part of the solution.
Critical competencies; problem solving/analysis, communication skills (oral/written).
