As a MEDITECH Support Specialist, your facilitation allows administrative and financial professionals to successfully utilize our Ambulatory Enterprise Health Record. On a daily basis, you are answering questions on how to best use the system to optimize workflow and efficiency in an Ambulatory environment, troubleshooting customer reported issues with the software, and helping to educate administrative and financial staff on this cost saving tool. As a member of our Client Services team, your job would involve:
Acting as the primary contact for scheduling/registration/billing physician practice clients for support of MEDITECH s Ambulatory software in a LIVE environment
Troubleshooting, researching, and solving software problems and customer issues
Taking requests for system enhancements or modifications and advocating those ideas with Development on behalf of the customer
Explaining new software updates and changes to customers, and advising on proper system setup
Working in a team with programmer analysts to resolve any technical issues
Working on group projects, interacting with development staff and mentoring co-workers
Processing requests for system enhancements or modifications to our evolving software
Designing and maintaining application documentation
Performing ongoing education with existing customers via the telephone, online seminars, or optimizations
Assisting with interpreting and providing solutions/compliance to regulatory events
Assisting with quality assurance
Clinical experience in a Physician Office or Ambulatory Practice setting preferred
Bachelor's degree and/or applicable training and education, or customer service experience preferred and/or related military experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills; skilled in exercising good initiative, judgement, and decision making
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
