Specialty Group of Spine Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeons seek to add another full-time Physician Assistant. The New PA will work directly with a Spine Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. This position consists of both the clinic and the OR. Spine cases include traumatic spine injuries, congenital spine deformities and structural wear and tear' utilizing the latest minimally invasive techniques. This PA will run their own orthopaedic clinic.
Responsibilities include: pre and post-operative H&P's, joint injections, writing scripts, removing casts and pins, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. They are located in a state-of-the-art facility that has EMR, Digital X-Ray and onsite PT/OT. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified and have direct orthopaedic experience or they will train a new graduate with a spine or neuro rotation.
The location is in Morris County, NJ (50 minutes to Manhattan) which offers easy access to culture, arts, great restaurants and universities! Base salary is open, plus a based bonus plan.
