This includes the development and execution of all business strategies to profitably grow the business.If you have an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop new products and services, then we invite you to apply to join our growing team and be a part of our next 90 years.ResponsibilitiesLead the efforts to grow the business into new markets and develop new products.Plan, develop and execute all sales, traditional marketing, digital marketing and advertising programs targeted at residential and commercial consumers in the natural gas and electricity markets we compete for. This includes providing feasibility studies and pro forma analyses.Create and implement advertising and promotional programs including but not limited to print, website, digital media and direct mail to increase brand recognition and enhance our competitive advantage.Manage customer pricing program to maintain customer margins according to plan.Establish and manage relationships with the sales force and related support functions including teleservice vendors, list companies, third party verification vendors and other companies that help us acquire and retain customers. This includes negotiating contract terms and conditions and pricing.Negotiate and execute supply agreements and manage supplier relationships. Ensure the timely delivery of commodity supply at competitive costs.Monitor and evaluate regulatory impacts to the business and successfully navigate the business through this environment. Build and maintain strong relationships with key utility, regulatory and industry representatives.Relocation assistance is available for those who qualify.This position requires travel to our Syracuse, NY office 1-2 days per month,as well as other occasional overnight domestic travel.QualificationsBachelors degree in business-related areaMinimum of ten years business experienceDemonstrated financial aptitude and ability to research/evaluate markets for expansionKnowledge of the retail natural gas and electricity industry and processes preferredProficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Why Suburban Propane?
